So here's a trailer for the new Avengers cartoon. To be honest, it reminds me of all those horrible 90s Marvel cartoons, just a tad glossier. It's even got a cheesy theme song.CoreyBeanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11156230993163320821noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2288131830841540835.post-13951862136403943552010-07-22T23:55:00.003-05:002010-07-22T23:58:36.607-05:00<object width="480" height="270"><param name="movie" value="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/video/xbi4z6_happy-hour-complete-short-film_fun?additionalInfos=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/video/xbi4z6_happy-hour-complete-short-film_fun?additionalInfos=0" width="480" height="270" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always"></embed></object><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-style:italic;">This</span> is what it's all about.CoreyBeanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11156230993163320821noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2288131830841540835.post-18347051393336546012010-07-21T21:42:00.002-05:002010-07-21T21:48:07.691-05:00<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/n-yOhXCvWg4&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/n-yOhXCvWg4&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object><br /><br />The Goon trailer. The goon was one of the last monthly (or so) comics I was buying & it was funny enough. Some of the humor was a bit obvious, but Eric Powell can goddamn draw. Nothing about the trailer jumps out at me except every now & again you realize how far computer animation has come; even an average bit of animation is leaps & bounds over what was state of the art ten years ago.CoreyBeanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11156230993163320821noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2288131830841540835.post-68247804347169456692010-07-10T21:48:00.001-05:002010-07-21T22:09:49.602-05:00<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yPCPGBVTccc&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yPCPGBVTccc&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="385"></embed></object><br /><br />This is way old, I know. I suck at blogging, though. You can watch the whole show <a href="http://link.en.video.sympatico.ca/services/player/bcpid45878627001?bctid=46881527001">here</a>. Even from the opening you can tell a few things: the talent involved are from the John K school of animation & they seemed to be preoccupied with the girls' tits. The jokes are what you expect, but it looks good. As far as I can tell, there's still no series. I suppose one could watch "The Mighty B" instead, though the tits aren't as jiggly & you have to listen Amy Poehler's crappy voice acting.CoreyBeanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11156230993163320821noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2288131830841540835.post-20004638176042875492010-03-02T23:52:00.000-06:002010-03-02T23:52:00.461-06:00<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1W6-Jr3BUBE&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1W6-Jr3BUBE&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br /><br />Very excellent. The concept is nothing ground breaking, but it's told in a very funny way & the animation is up & down fantastic. I love that the animation <em>looks</em> drawn. If I had ever been good & gotten a chance to produce what I wanted to, it would have been in a similar style; very sketchy & spontaneous-looking.CoreyBeanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11156230993163320821noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2288131830841540835.post-47479398205186311372009-05-14T16:31:00.001-05:002009-05-14T16:40:14.943-05:00<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aDOiWOlltzI&color1=0xe1600f&color2=0xfebd01&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aDOiWOlltzI&color1=0xe1600f&color2=0xfebd01&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br /><br />I snatched this off of <a href="http://drawn.ca/">Drawn.ca</a>.
